The 1/4-28 Locking Hex Nut (part# A375-0100) is a genuine Tacony OEM locking nut used on the steel agitator (brushroll) of the CleanMax ZM-600 commercial upright and other Tacony Ultra-Lightweight steel agitators. It threads onto the agitator shaft to lock the end cap, bearing, and pulley stack in place.

This nylon-insert locking nut resists loosening from the vibration of a spinning brushroll, holding the agitator end assembly tight so the roller runs true. If it backs off, the agitator can develop end play, wobble, or come apart.
