The Steel Agitator Assembly (Clamping Design, part# D013-0500) is the complete, factory-tested steel brushroll for the CleanMax ZM-600 commercial upright. It is the rotating brush that sweeps and agitates carpet so the vacuum lifts embedded dirt, and it ships fully assembled and ready to install.
On the ZM-600, the steel agitator is driven by the Poly-V belt from the pulley-shaft motor. Unlike the wood agitator used on the ZM-200 and ZM-400, the ZM-600 uses this steel-core clamping-design agitator with replaceable brush strips.
Replace the complete assembly when the brush strips are worn beyond re-bristling, the steel core is bent, or the end bearings are worn and the roller wobbles or is noisy. Installing the tested complete assembly restores full grooming and pickup in one step.
This is a genuine Tacony assembly built to the original specification so it drops into the ZM-600 nozzle and accepts the existing belt and end hardware.
