Side Latch 083570181

The side latch (part# 083570181) is the genuine Lindhaus locking catch for the LS50 Hybrid that holds a housing panel or cover securely closed during use. This latch has to click shut and stay shut through constant handling, so a cracked, worn, or weak-springing latch is a small part that causes an outsized problem: a cover that pops open, rattles, or will not stay seated while you clean.

Compatible Models for the side latch

• Lindhaus LS50 Hybrid

Latches take repeated stress every time a panel is opened for service or emptying, and the small plastic hook and its spring feature are the first things to fatigue. When the latch fails you may find the cover no longer snaps home, flops loose, or reopens on its own, which can also let the machine lose its proper seal. Replacing the latch is an inexpensive fix that restores a positive, secure close and keeps the LS50 Hybrid tight and quiet in use.

This is a straightforward swap in most cases, and matching part# 083570181 ensures the mounting and catch geometry line up with the housing. Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Lindhaus equipment since 1956, and you can find covers, housings, and other nozzle parts on our Lindhaus LS50 vacuum parts page.
