The Beam Rugmaster Plus power head is an electric central vacuum carpet nozzle designed to stand up to demanding, everyday cleaning. For years it has been one of the most dependable and economical power head choices for Beam central vacuum systems, using a motor-driven metal brush roll to agitate carpet pile and lift embedded dirt and pet hair that suction alone leaves behind.
The Beam Rugmaster Plus power head features a rugged metal brush roll, rubber wheels that roll smoothly and protect flooring, and a low-profile housing that slides easily under beds and furniture. It is the same power head supplied in the Beam Rugmaster Plus cleaning set, and it connects to a Beam direct-connect electric hose so the brush roll is driven electrically for consistent deep-cleaning performance.
Replace a Rugmaster Plus power head when the brush roll stops spinning, the bristles are worn flat, the belt slips, or the nozzle no longer grooms carpet the way it used to. Note that the Rugmaster Plus has been produced in more than one version over the years with different service part numbers, so if you are ordering internal parts we recommend confirming your exact version first. Twin City Vacuum has sold and serviced central vacuum power heads since 1956 and can help you confirm the right one.
