The Powr-Flite BK0520 is a 20-inch black stripping pad, five to a case. Black is the aggressive stripping pad: paired with a stripping solution it cuts through multiple coats of old floor finish and takes it down to the substrate so a floor can be re-sealed and re-finished. On a 20-inch machine it is the standard pad for a full strip-and-wax.

Flood the floor with stripper, let it dwell, and run the BK0520 wet on a 19-inch driver. The coarse black fiber lifts softened finish off the floor in a slurry that is then squeegeed and picked up. It is built for full finish removal — too aggressive for routine cleaning, exactly right for restoring a floor before recoating.
