Tornado CV 30 Brush Head Top Cover, Black K50625560

The black brush head Top Cover (part# K50625560) is Tacony’s OEM alternative finish to the yellow cover on the 12-inch Tornado CV 30, model 91449. It appears on the brush head drawing without a number of its own.

Mechanically it is the same panel as the yellow one: same mounting, same screws, same fit. The difference is the finish, and the reason to care is that a black head reads as less conspicuous in guest-facing areas — hotel corridors, showrooms, offices where a bright yellow machine is more visible than the customer wants.

Fitting notes

Unplug the vacuum and lay the head flat. Take out all the M5 screws that hold the panel before lifting it; the moulding splits at the bosses if it is prised while still fixed. Fit the new cover straight on — nothing carries over.

How to be sure this is your part

This is the 12-inch part. The 15-inch CV 38 uses K50625580 for the same job. If the data plate says 91449 and you want the black finish, this is the one.

Frequently asked questions

Is the black cover the same shape as the yellow?

Yes. Tacony moulds both from the same tool for this machine; only the colour differs, and the two carry separate part numbers so the colour can be ordered deliberately. The yellow equivalent is K50610390.

Is this an original Tacony part?

Yes. This is the OEM component Tacony lists for this machine in its own parts book, not an aftermarket copy.

Will it fit my machine if the model number is not listed above?

The list above is taken from Tacony’s own Where-Used record for this part number. If your machine is not on it, send us the model and serial number from the data plate and we will check the parts book before you order.
