Tornado CV 38/2 & 48/2 Complete Adjusting Wheel K45153110

The Complete Adjusting Wheel (part# K45153110) is a genuine Tacony OEM replacement for the Tornado CV 38/2 and Tornado CV 48/2 commercial upright vacuums. It is the complete height-adjustment wheel assembly for the brush head.

It is the control the operator turns to match the head to the carpet pile, so it is worked constantly and its detent wears. A wheel that will not hold a setting lets the head drop or ride high, which shows as poor pick-up on one carpet and brush drag on another.

Fitting notes

Supplied as a complete assembly, so there is nothing to rebuild. Unplug the machine, note the setting the old wheel was on before removing it, and check that the new one clicks through its full range before refitting the cover.

How to be sure this is your part

Match the part number on the old component where one is visible, or match its position on the factory diagram for your model. Our diagram pages for these machines show every numbered position with the part number beside it, so you can confirm before ordering. If you are unsure, call us with the model number from the machine’s data plate and we will check it against the parts book.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an original Tacony part?

Yes. This is the OEM component Tacony lists for these models, not an aftermarket copy.

Will it fit my machine if the model number is not listed above?

The list above comes from Tacony’s own where-used records for this part number. If your machine is not on it, call before ordering — the CV and CVD ranges share a great deal but not everything.

Do you stock it?

We hold the fast-moving parts for this range and order the rest in. Call 763-535-0770 and we will tell you what is on the shelf today.
