Tornado CV 38 Brush Head Top Cover, Black K50625580

The black brush head Top Cover (part# K50625580) is the OEM alternative finish to the yellow panel on the 15-inch Tornado CV 38, model 91451.

It is the same panel as the yellow cover in every dimension — the choice is finish, not fit. Black is the usual pick where the machine works in front of guests and a bright yellow head would draw the eye, and it also hides scuffing better over a long service life.

Fitting notes

Unplug first and lay the head flat. Remove every screw before lifting the panel. A cover prised off with one screw still in will crack at that boss, which is the commonest way a good cover is ruined during a repair.

How to be sure this is your part

Check the width. K50625580 is the 15-inch part; the 12-inch CV 30 uses K50625560. If your machine’s plate reads 91451 and you want black, this is correct.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a black cover on a machine that came with yellow?

Yes. The mounting is identical, so the swap is a straight exchange. The yellow cover for this machine is K50610430 if you would rather keep it as built.

How do I know the cover is the problem and not the housing under it?

Lift the cover off and look at the bottom housing it sits on. If the housing is sound and only the top panel is split, this cover puts it right on its own. If the housing itself is cracked around the wheel mounts or the belt channel, you need K40606980 as well — fitting a new cover to a broken housing will crack the cover again.

Is this an original Tacony part?

Yes. This is the OEM component Tacony lists for this machine in its own parts book, not an aftermarket copy.

Will it fit my machine if the model number is not listed above?

The list above is taken from Tacony’s own Where-Used record for this part number. If your machine is not on it, send us the model and serial number from the data plate and we will check the parts book before you order.
