Tornado CV Front Cover Black K40640000

The CV Front Cover Black (part# K40640000) is a genuine Tacony OEM replacement for the Tornado CV 38/2, Tornado CV 48/2, Tornado CV 30 and Tornado CV 38 commercial upright vacuums. It is the moulded front cover that closes the front of the vacuum body and carries the lower housing line.

It is a large exterior panel, so it takes the knocks in service — cracked corners and broken mounting lugs are the usual reason for replacement. Because these machines are built for daily commercial use, the top assembly sees constant handling — the cover is opened for bag changes, the switch and board are worked every shift, and the fittings around them loosen over time. Fitting notes

Work with the machine unplugged. The appliance top comes apart from the outside in, so the cover and its fixings come off before anything electrical is reached. Keep the screws separated as you go — the top assembly uses more than one length and they are easy to mix up on reassembly. If the part you are replacing sits behind the electrical cover, note how the loom is routed before you disturb it so it goes back without being pinched when the cover is refitted.
