Tornado CV Handle K53217130

The Handle (part# K53217130) is a genuine Tacony OEM replacement for the Tornado CV 30, Tornado CV 38, Tornado CV 38/2 and Tornado CV 48/2 commercial upright vacuums. It is the moulded grip at the top of the handle tube, the part the operator holds while the machine is in use.

It is the single most handled component on the machine and the one most often broken by a fall or by being used to drag the vacuum up a stair. A cracked grip is a safety issue as much as a cosmetic one, because a hand slipping off a broken handle on a stairwell is how people get hurt.

Fitting notes

Work with the machine unplugged. The grip is carried on the top of the handle tube and comes away once its fixing is released; note how the cord strain relief and any cable clips are routed before you pull it clear, so the loom goes back the same way and is not trapped when the grip is refitted.
