Motor Compartment 39190

The Motor Compartment (part# 39190) is the molded housing that holds the suction motor on the CMBP-6CL cordless backpack vacuum, sealing and supporting the motor within the backpack body.

Compatible Models for the Motor Compartment

• Tornado Pac-Vac 6 Roam — Models 93016, 93016B-1 and 93016C-1
• CleanMax CMBP-6CL Cordless Lithium Backpack Vacuum

What the Motor Compartment does

The motor compartment cradles and encloses the 36V suction motor, positioning it in the airflow, supporting it against the vibration of a backpack machine, and forming part of the sealed airway that routes air from the filters through the motor. It gives the motor a defined, sealed home so suction is contained and the motor is protected within the pack.

Signs the Motor Compartment needs replacing

Replace the motor compartment if it is cracked, warped, or its mounting or sealing features are broken so the motor no longer seats securely or the airway leaks around it. Symptoms include a rattling motor, air leaks that new seals do not cure, or visible damage to the housing that keeps the motor from sitting correctly.

Installation and fit

With the battery removed, transfer the motor and its seal into the new 39190 compartment, seat everything on its locating features, and reassemble the body so the compartment closes and seals. Confirm the motor is secure and suction is contained before use. Twin City Vacuum has sold and serviced CleanMax equipment since 1956, and every part is sourced directly from Tacony.
