Felt Packing (A09)

The A09 felt packing is the shaped felt seal that fits around the brushroll bearing area in the nozzle of Tacony commercial uprights. It seals the gap around the agitator end so air is drawn through the brushroll rather than leaking in at the ends, and it helps keep dust and hair out of the bearing.

Felt packing compresses, wears and clogs over time, which lets air leak at the nozzle ends and reduces pickup. Replacing it with the genuine A09 restores the end seal and the nozzle’s airflow.
