The Paper Bag (part# 90701) is the disposable filtration bag for these 30-inch wide-area vacuums, the primary dust container that captures debris while letting airflow pass through the machine. Fits Tornado 93030, Tornado 93031 and CleanMax CM-WAV.

These machines are built on the same wide-area platform under different brands and share the great majority of their parts.

What the Paper Bag does

The paper bag is the first and largest stage of filtration on these machines. Dirt-laden air enters the bag, the debris is trapped, and the filtered air continues through to the motor and exhaust filter. Because it is the primary dust store, keeping a genuine bag installed and changing it before it packs solid is the single biggest factor in maintaining suction and protecting the downstream filters and motor.

Signs the Paper Bag needs replacing

Replace the paper bag when it is about two-thirds full, when suction noticeably drops, or when the full-bag condition is reached — do not wait for it to pack solid, because an overfilled bag chokes airflow and pushes fine dust downstream into the motor. A torn bag must be replaced immediately, and the machine should never be run without a bag installed.

Installation and fit

Open the bag compartment, slide the old bag off its inlet collar and dispose of it, then fit a new 90701 bag squarely onto the inlet so the collar seals fully. Keep a spare pack on hand so the machine is never run bagless. Twin City Vacuum has sold and serviced Tacony equipment since 1956, and every part is sourced directly from Tacony. Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Paper Bag do on the CleanMax CM-WAV?

It is the primary disposable filter and dust container — it traps debris while letting air pass through to the motor and exhaust filter.

When should I change the CM-WAV paper bag?

Change it at about two-thirds full or when suction drops — not when it is packed solid. An overfilled bag chokes airflow and sends fine dust into the motor. Replace a torn bag right away and never run the machine without one.
