About Tornado 93030 Carpetkeeper parts

The Tornado CK 3030 Carpetkeeper is a 30″ clean-air wide area vacuum built for commercial floor care. Tacony documents the machine across seven parts sheets and each one has its own section above — six covering the main machine and a seventh covering the brush roll.

Knowing which sheet to open saves time. If the machine has lost suction, start with the bags and filters on the base assembly, then the vacuum motor and its gasket. If the machine is dead or trips its breaker, the switch, circuit breaker and handle harness are on the handle assembly. If the brush has stopped turning, check the drive belt on the base assembly first, then the brush motor, then the brush roll bearings. If the handle will not stay up, it is the cam lever on the handle lock sheet.

The six main assembly sections follow the current Series J edition of the Tacony sheets and carry every numbered callout from those diagrams. The brush roll sheet covers all series D through J. Parts that appeared only on the earlier Series D–H sheets and have since been superseded are listed further down this page, so an older machine can still be matched from here.

Everything listed is genuine Tacony OEM — we do not substitute aftermarket parts. Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing commercial floor care equipment since 1956 at 5415 West Broadway, Crystal, MN 55428. Older-Series (Superseded) Parts

These parts appear on the earlier Series D–H parts breakdowns for the Tornado 93030 Carpetkeeper and are not on the current Series J sheets above. They are kept here for reference and for machines still in the field. Fits earlier Series D–H 93030 machines — call 763-535-0770 to confirm the right part for your serial number before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find the right Tornado 93030 Carpetkeeper parts?

Pick the assembly your part belongs to from the seven sections above. Each section page has its own Tacony schematic with clickable numbered dots and a matching numbered table, so you can match the callout number on the diagram to the first column of the table and click straight through to that part.

Which series is my Tornado CK 3030?

The series letter — D, E, F, G, H or J — is printed on the machine’s data label along with the serial number. The six main assembly sections follow the current Series J edition. The brush roll parts cover all series D through J. If the label is missing or unreadable, call 763-535-0770 and we can help identify the machine.

What is the difference between the brush motor and the brush roll?

They are different assemblies and they share no parts. The brush roll is the agitator itself — the roller, its bearings, bearing blocks, brush shoe and axle. The brush motor is the separate motor that drives it through a belt. Each has its own section above.

Do Tornado 93030 parts also fit the Powr-Flite PF2030 or CleanMax CM-WAV?

Very often, yes. The Tornado 93030, the Tornado 93031 (230V), the Powr-Flite PF2030 and the CleanMax CM-WAV are built on the same platform under different brands and share the great majority of parts. Call 763-535-0770 with your model and we will confirm the fitment before you order.

My Tornado 93030 has lost suction — where do I start?

Start on the base assembly with the bag and the filters, since a loaded bag or filter is the most common cause and the cheapest fix. If airflow is clear, move to the vacuum motor section and check the motor gasket and the intake filter before replacing the motor itself.

Do you stock Tornado 93030 parts?

We stock the common wear items — bags, filters, belts and brushes — and order the rest directly from Tacony. Everything listed is genuine Tacony OEM. Call 763-535-0770 or visit us at 5415 West Broadway, Crystal, MN 55428. There is no restocking fee.
