Wire Connector Large B123-2700

The Wire Connector (part# B123-2700) is a genuine Tacony OEM replacement part for the wide-area vacuum family, and it fits more than one machine. This large Wire Connector joins wires inside the machine harness, making a secure, insulated splice that carries current between conductors without loosening in service. Fits Tornado 93030.

Compatible Models for the Wire Connector

• Tornado 93030 30″ Clean-Air Carpetkeeper (Wide Area) — Series G
• Riccar R10E

A Wire Connector has to hold a tight, low-resistance joint despite vibration and heat, so a failed one shows up as an electrical fault rather than a mechanical one. Signs it needs replacing are intermittent power or a circuit that cuts in and out when wires are moved, a connector that is loose, cracked, or melted, discoloration or a burnt smell at the splice, or corrosion on the conductors inside. A bad connector is both a reliability and a safety issue, so it should be replaced rather than taped. It is fitted during an electrical repair with the machine unplugged.

Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tacony equipment since 1956 and stocks the genuine B123-2700 part rather than a generic substitute. Browse the full Tornado CK 3030 wide-area vacuum for related parts, or read more on the Tornado manufacturer site.
