Power Cord 19473

The Power Cord (part# 19473) is a genuine Tacony OEM replacement part for the wide-area vacuum family, and it fits more than one machine. This Power Cord is the machine 14/3 supply cord that carries line power from the wall to the vacuum; on this wide-area machine it is a long-reach cord sized to cover large open floors on one plug-in. Fits Tornado 93030, CleanMax CM-WAV and Powr-Flite PF2030.

Compatible Models for the Power Cord

• Tornado 93030 30″ Clean-Air Carpetkeeper (Wide Area) — all series D through J
• CleanMax CM-WAV Wide Area Vacuum
• Powr-Flite PF2030 30-Inch Wide Area Commercial Vacuum

This part is used across many Tacony machines beyond this family — call 763-535-0770 to confirm fitment for your machine.

The Power Cord is dragged, rolled over, and flexed at the strain relief every shift, so the jacket nicks, the conductors fatigue near the plug, and the plug itself can loosen or overheat. A damaged supply cord is a shock and fire hazard, not just a nuisance, so it should be replaced at the first sign of trouble rather than taped. Signs it needs replacing are a cut, cracked, or taped jacket, exposed or discolored conductors, power that cuts in and out when the cord is flexed, or a plug that is loose, bent, or warm. Replacement is an electrical repair done with the machine unplugged.

Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tacony equipment since 1956 and stocks the genuine 19473 part rather than a generic substitute. Browse the full Tornado CK 3030 wide-area vacuum for related parts, or read more on the Tornado manufacturer site.
