The Fan Washer (part# A733-2200) is a genuine Tacony OEM steel washer used in the motor and cooling-fan stack of many Tornado, Riccar, Simplicity, CleanMax and Powr-Flite uprights, including the CleanMax ZM-200.

This flat steel washer (roughly.284 in ID) seats on the motor shaft to correctly space and retain the cooling fan and related hardware so the fan runs true behind the fan nut. It is a small but essential part of the motor stack.

Replace the washer if it is bent, corroded, or missing, and fit a fresh one any time you have the fan or motor apart for service — running without the correct washer lets the fan sit out of position and vibrate.
