Wing Nut 19975

The Wing Nut (part# 19975) is a genuine Tacony OEM replacement part for the wide-area vacuum family, and it fits more than one machine. This 10-32 Wing Nut is the hand-tightened fastener that secures a service cover on the machine, letting a technician open and close the panel by hand with no tool. Fits Tornado 93030, Tornado 93031, CleanMax CM-WAV and Powr-Flite PF2030.

Compatible Models for the Wing Nut

• Tornado 93030 30″ Clean-Air Carpetkeeper (Wide Area) — all series D through J
• Tornado 93031 30″ Clean-Air Carpetkeeper (Wide Area) 230V
• CleanMax CM-WAV Wide Area Vacuum
• Powr-Flite PF2030 30-Inch Wide Area Commercial Vacuum

Because the Wing Nut is removed and refitted by hand every time the panel comes off for service, it is easily lost, cross-threaded, or worn round at the wings so it can no longer be gripped and tightened. A missing or stripped wing nut leaves the panel loose, which rattles in use and can let the cover shift out of position. It threads on by hand onto the existing stud; no tool is needed. Keeping a spare on hand means a lost nut never sidelines the machine.

Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tacony equipment since 1956 and stocks the genuine 19975 part rather than a generic substitute. Browse the full Tornado CK 3030 wide-area vacuum for related parts, or read more on the Tornado manufacturer site.

What does the Wing Nut do on the Tornado 93030?
