The CM011008 is the left baseplate latch on the nozzle of Tacony commercial uprights, the catch that locks the baseplate closed so it stays secured during use yet releases for belt and brushroll service. It works with the right latch (CM011009) to hold the baseplate in place.

Baseplate latches wear or break from repeated opening for service, letting the baseplate rattle or come loose. Fitting the genuine CM011008 restores a positive latch. The same latch serves the CleanMax Pro-Series, the matching Carpet Pro machines and the Tornado CK 14/1.
