Baseplate Seal (CM031001)

The CM031001 baseplate seal is the gasket that seals the nozzle baseplate to the housing on Tacony commercial uprights. It closes the joint at the baseplate so suction is drawn through the brushroll opening rather than leaking around the plate.

A hardened or missing baseplate seal lets air leak at the nozzle underside and reduces pickup. Replacing it with the genuine CM031001 restores the sealed nozzle airway. The same seal serves the CleanMax Pro-Series, the matching Carpet Pro machines and the Tornado CK 14/1.
