Dusting Brush Tool 90031
$4.99
Genuine Tacony dusting brush tool, part number 90031, for the Tornado TV 2 SS dry canister vacuum (Model 93282) and the Simplicity Brio canister vacuum.
This is the dusting brush for the Tornado TV 2 SS dry canister and the Simplicity Brio, listed by Tacony under one part number for both machines. It is the soft-bristled tool for surfaces a bare nozzle would mark.
What the Dusting Brush Tool Does
The bristles do the work the airflow cannot. They lift dust off a surface and hold it in the airstream long enough for it to be drawn away, while keeping the hard plastic of the tool off the surface itself. That is what makes it the right tool for window sills, blinds, keyboards, vents and polished furniture — anywhere a crevice tool would leave a mark.
Where It Sits on the Machine
It fits on the end of the wand or directly on the hose handle, shown in the accessory group on the TV 2 SS diagrams.
Compatible Models for the Dusting Brush Tool
- Tornado TV 2 SS Dry Canister Vacuum — Model 93282
- Simplicity Brio Canister Vacuum
This is one part shared by both machines, so you are ordering the same component whichever you own. Not sure which you have? Call us at 763-535-0770 and we will confirm it.
When to Replace It
Replace the brush when the bristles have worn short, splayed or fallen out, or when they have picked up enough grease and grime to smear rather than lift. A brush that has been used on something oily is rarely worth saving — it will mark the next surface it touches.
Fitting Notes
Comb hair and fibre out of the bristles regularly so they stay open. Keep it away from wet surfaces, and if it needs washing let it dry completely before use, because damp bristles collect dust into a paste rather than releasing it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I use the dusting brush on?
Window sills, blinds, vents, keyboards, lampshades, polished furniture and anywhere else a bare plastic nozzle would risk scratching. The bristles keep the tool off the surface while still lifting the dust into the airflow.
The bristles have gone stiff and it smears. Can I clean it?
If it is just dust, comb it out and let the brush dry fully. If it has picked up grease or polish the bristles will keep smearing whatever you do, and a new brush is the better answer — it is an inexpensive part.
