Left Pivot B016-0600

$1.99

Genuine OEM left pivot (part# B016-0600) for the Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 and 97131, and the Powr-Flite PF62EC. Call 763-535-0770.

The Left Pivot (part# B016-0600) is the left-hand hinge between the base and the upright body of the Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 (115V) and 97131 (230V), and of the Powr-Flite PF62EC.

The pivots are what let the handle lie back while the nozzle stays flat on the floor, and they carry the whole weight of the upper body every time the machine is leaned back. They work constantly and they are under load the entire time the machine is in use, which is why they wear rather than break.

Recognising worn pivots

Play is the symptom. Hold the base still and try to rock the body side to side: a serviceable pivot allows the hinge movement and nothing else. Once you can feel lateral slop, the nozzle is no longer being held square to the floor and the machine will start to clean unevenly and to wander under the operator’s hand.

Pivots wear as a pair and should be replaced as a pair. This is the left-hand one; the right-hand pivot is part number B016-0400. They are handed, so check which you are ordering — they will not substitute for each other. Both are inexpensive enough that doing one and leaving the other is a false economy.

Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado equipment since 1956. Call 763-535-0770 with your model and serial number and we will confirm the part before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which machines does this pivot fit?

The Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 and 97131, and the Powr-Flite PF62EC.

Is the right pivot the same part?

No. They are handed. The right-hand pivot is part number B016-0400 and the two are not interchangeable.

How do I tell if the pivots are worn?

Hold the base and rock the body sideways. Hinge movement is normal; lateral play is not, and it means the nozzle is no longer being held square to the floor.
