Miele Triflex HX1 HX2 Pre-Filter 12431950

The Triflex HX1 / HX2 Pre-Filter (part# 12431950) is the genuine Miele pre-filter for the Triflex HX1, Triflex HX1 Facelift and Triflex HX2 cordless stick vacuums.

What the Triflex HX1 / HX2 Pre-Filter Does

Miele describes it as the part used for separating coarse and fine dust: it sits in the dust container ahead of the fine dust filter, holding back hair and larger debris so the fine dust filter stays efficient and suction stays strong. The Triflex HX1 and HX2 are no longer sold new, but this part is still available for owners keeping their machine running.

When to Replace the Triflex HX1 / HX2 Pre-Filter

Replace it if the mesh is torn, the frame is cracked or warped, or it no longer locks into the dust container.

The Triflex HX3 uses a different pre-filter assembly (part# 12645893).
