Tornado TV 2 SS Tank Assembly Kit 39252
Genuine Tornado tank assembly kit, part number 39252, for the Tornado TV 2 SS dry canister vacuum, Model 93282. Call for price.
This is the tank assembly kit for the Tornado TV 2 SS dry canister vacuum, Model 93282. The tank is the body of the canister — the chamber that holds the bag and the filtration and connects the hose inlet to the motor chamber below.
What the Tank Assembly Kit Does
Everything the machine picks up passes through the tank, and everything about how well it filters depends on the tank sealing properly at both ends: at the lid above and at the motor chamber below. It also carries the hose inlet, the handle and the mounting for the bag collar, so it is the structural centre of the machine as well as its air path.
Where It Sits on the Machine
It forms the main body of the canister, shown on the TV 2 SS main assembly diagram between the top covers and the motor area.

When to Replace It
Replace the tank when it is cracked, when a sealing face is damaged so the lid or the motor chamber will not seal, or when a mounting point for the inlet or handle has broken. A crack in the tank is an air leak that costs suction continuously and cannot be patched reliably.
Fitting Notes
This is a major strip-down — the inlet, handle, bag collar and everything below transfer across. Work from the diagram and keep hardware grouped by position. Given the labour involved, call us first if the machine is older: we will give you an honest view on whether the repair is worth it against the value of the machine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there no price shown for this part?
Tacony does not publish a price for part number 39252 in the dealer catalogue we buy from, and we will not invent one. Call Twin City Vacuum at 763-535-0770 with the part number and we will quote it, confirm availability and check it against your machine before anything ships.
Can a cracked tank be repaired?
Not reliably. The tank is under constant suction in use, so a patched crack tends to reopen and you lose the airflow continuously in the meantime. If the crack is anywhere in the sealed air path, replacement is the honest answer.
