Tornado TV 2 SS Vacuum Motor 230V 39275

Genuine Tornado 230-volt vacuum motor, part number 39275, for the 230V version of the Tornado TV 2 SS dry canister vacuum, Model 93282. Call for price.

This is the vacuum motor for the 230-volt version of the Tornado TV 2 SS dry canister vacuum. It is the 230-volt counterpart of the 1200-watt motor used in the 120-volt machines, part number 39266, and the two carry separate Tacony part numbers for good reason.

What the Vacuum Motor 230V Does

The motor is what the rest of the canister is built around: the bag and HEPA filter keep grit off it, the motor chamber and its seal hold the airflow on the clean side of the filtration, and the insulation and mount keep its noise and vibration out of the room. Replace the motor and you are replacing the machine’s single most expensive component, so it is worth ruling out the cheap causes first.

Where It Sits on the Machine

It sits inside the motor chamber on the motor mount, under the motor cover assembly, at the motor position on the TV 2 SS main assembly diagram.

When to Replace It

Replace the motor when the brushes are worn out, when it has become loud or is running hot or cutting out, or when suction is clearly down with a fresh bag, a new HEPA filter and sound seals. A blocked filter or a leaking motor chamber seal imitates a failing motor closely and both cost a fraction as much to put right.

Fitting Notes

Confirm from the rating plate that the machine is 230 volt before ordering — the 120-volt machines take 39266. Replace the motor mount at the same time, since it will have hardened over the old motor’s life, and check the motor chamber seal while the chamber is open.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there no price shown for this part?

Tacony does not publish a price for part number 39275 in the dealer catalogue we buy from, and we will not invent one. Call Twin City Vacuum at 763-535-0770 with the part number and we will quote it, confirm availability and check it against your machine before anything ships.

How do I tell a worn motor from a blocked filter?

Fit a fresh bag and a new HEPA filter, then check the motor chamber seal. If suction returns, the motor was never the problem. If airflow is still down with clean filtration and the motor is noisy or running hot, the motor is the likely cause. Ring us on 763-535-0770 before you spend the money.
