Fits the PS Spotter 98220, 98221 and 98225 — see the compatibility list below.
The Tornado Warning Label 19533 is the genuine OEM warning decal fitted to the PS Series professional spotters. It is a safety marking, not a trim part: it carries the operator warnings the machine was certified with, and a machine missing it is missing part of its safety labelling. It also fits the Tornado PS8226 Spotter 98226, the 230-volt build of the deluxe PS Series spotter.

Why a label is a replacement part
Labels are the parts most often written off as cosmetic, and on commercial equipment that is the wrong way to think about them. A warning label is on the parts list for the same reason a guard or a strain relief is: it was part of the machine as certified, and it is there to tell whoever is standing in front of the machine something they need to know before they do the next thing.
That audience is the point. Commercial cleaning equipment is operated by people who did not unbox it, often on a night shift, often without the manual anywhere nearby. The label is the only documentation present at the moment of use. When it has been scrubbed off, painted over or soaked away, the information has left the machine — and the new operator, the temporary staff member or the contractor is working without it.
There is a practical dimension too. In a facility where equipment is inspected, a machine with missing or illegible safety labelling is a finding. Replacing a label is inexpensive and takes minutes; arguing about it afterwards is not.
When to replace it
Replace the label when it is no longer doing its job, which happens long before it falls off. Specifically: when the text or symbols can no longer be read at arm’s length; when it is faded, bleached or yellowed by detergent and UV; when it is cracked, scratched, scuffed or abraded; when an edge has lifted, curled or started peeling; when solution has wicked under it and left it stained or bubbled; or when it has been painted or taped over.
Replace it if it has been removed at some point and never replaced — a machine with a bare patch of housing where a label should be is a machine whose warning is simply gone.
The sensible moment is during any service when the housing is open and the surface is accessible and dry. Check the other markings on the machine in the same pass, since the switch labelling, ground symbol and serial plate live in the same conditions and age at the same rate.
Fitting notes
Surface preparation is the whole job. Remove the old label and all of its adhesive residue, then clean the area with a solvent appropriate to the housing material and let it dry completely. Adhesive will not key to detergent film, silicone polish or a damp surface, and a label applied over residue lifts at an edge within weeks.
Fit it in the same position as the original. Position is not arbitrary — a warning is placed where the operator will be looking when the warning is relevant, and a label relocated somewhere more convenient stops working as a warning.
Apply at room temperature, not on a cold machine straight out of a van; pressure-sensitive adhesive needs warmth to flow and wet out the surface. Lay one edge down first and smooth across to the other to avoid trapping air, then press the whole area firmly, paying attention to the edges, and leave it to bond before the machine is washed or put back into service.
Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado equipment since 1956 and can source PS Series labelling from the factory.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Warning Label 19533 really need replacing?
Yes, when it can no longer be read. It was part of the machine as certified, and it is the only documentation physically present at the moment of use — commercial equipment is often operated by people who never saw the manual. In an inspected facility, illegible safety labelling is also a finding.
When should the Warning Label be replaced?
When the text or symbols cannot be read at arm’s length, or when the label is faded, cracked, scuffed, stained, bubbled, lifting at an edge, painted over or missing entirely. Faded counts — a label stops working well before it falls off.
How do I apply the Warning Label so it stays on?
Preparation decides it. Remove all old adhesive residue, clean with a suitable solvent and let the surface dry fully — adhesive will not key to detergent film or a damp surface. Apply at room temperature, lay one edge first and smooth across to avoid trapping air, press the edges firmly, and put it back in the original position so the warning is where the operator will be looking.
