Tornado Zephyr Floor Tool K69074960

The floor tool (part# K69074960) is the combination nozzle supplied with the Tornado Zephyr — the head that does the bulk of the cleaning on both carpet and hard floor.

This is a genuine Tacony OEM part for the Tornado Zephyr.

Compatible Models for the Floor Tool K69074960

• Tornado: TV570-Q03-U Zephyr cordless backpack vacuum

PartSmart lists this part on the Zephyr and on no other machine, so the fit is specific rather than shared. If your machine is a different Tornado cordless model, call 763-535-0770 with the model number and we will find the right part for it.

What the floor tool does

A combination nozzle switches between a bare-floor setting with a brush strip and a carpet setting without it, so one tool covers both surfaces. Because the Zephyr has no powered brushroll, this nozzle and the airflow behind it are doing all the work, which is why its condition matters more here than on an upright.

Signs it needs replacing

Replace it when the sole plate is worn through, when the brush strip is flattened or missing so it no longer sweeps hard floors, when the switch mechanism sticks, or when the neck has cracked. A worn nozzle quietly costs you cleaning performance long before it breaks.

Installation and fit

Push-fit onto the wand. Check it seats fully and swivels freely, and test the floor and carpet settings both change cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Carpet or hard floor?

Both — the brush strip drops for hard floors and retracts for carpet.

Why does a worn nozzle matter so much on this machine?

The Zephyr is a suction-only backpack. With no brushroll, the nozzle sole and the seal it makes with the floor are the whole cleaning mechanism.

Does it fit the telescopic wand?

Yes — wand K69075753, which is the wand supplied with this machine.

Which machines use it?

The Tornado Zephyr TV570-Q03-U only.
