• Tornado: TV570-Q03-U Zephyr cordless backpack vacuum

PartSmart lists this part on the Zephyr and on no other machine, so the fit is specific rather than shared. If your machine is a different Tornado cordless model, call 763-535-0770 with the model number and we will find the right part for it.

What the harness strap magnet does

It gives the strap a positive place to sit when the machine is being put on or taken off, so the buckle is where the operator expects it rather than swinging loose. It is small, but it is handled dozens of times a day.

Signs it needs replacing

Replace it when it no longer holds the strap, when the magnet has cracked or come out of its carrier, or when it has lost enough strength that the strap falls away on its own.

Installation and fit

No tools in most cases — the magnet sits in its carrier on the strap. Check it holds firmly before the machine goes back into service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this include the strap?

No. It is the magnet only; the full harness and straps assembly is K65410183.

Can magnets lose strength?

They can weaken over years, and they crack if the machine is dropped on that side. Either way the fix is a new magnet.

Is it worth replacing on its own?

Yes — it is a small part that makes the machine noticeably nicer to put on and take off.

Which machines use it?

The Tornado Zephyr TV570-Q03-U only.
