Tube B431-4000
$11.99
Genuine OEM airflow tube (part# B431-4000) for the Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 and 97131, and the Powr-Flite PF62EC. Call 763-535-0770.
The Tube (part# B431-4000) carries the airflow from the nozzle up to the bag mount on the Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 (115V) and 97131 (230V), and on the Powr-Flite PF62EC.
This is the duct, not the handle tube — it is the passage everything the machine picks up travels through. Two things end its life. The first is a crack, usually at one of the ends where it is clamped, which bleeds air into the stream and costs suction at the floor. The second is internal build-up: fine dust bonded to the wall by damp, or a lodged obstruction that narrows the bore. A partially blocked tube is the most common reason a machine with a fresh bag and a good filter still will not pick up.

Checking and clearing it
Take the tube off at both ends and hold it to the light. You should see a clean, even bore end to end. Anything caught inside — a strip of packing tape, a cable tie, a wad of hair — comes out with a blunt rod rather than anything that could score the wall. Where the inside is coated rather than blocked, wash it out and let it dry fully before refitting, because a damp tube collects the next load of dust straight onto the wall.
If the tube is cracked, replace it. A taped crack survives a few weeks of handling at best, and the tape edge becomes the next place debris catches.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which machines does this tube fit?
The Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 and 97131, and the Powr-Flite PF62EC.
Is this the same as the handle tube?
No. The handle tube is the structural tube you push the machine with, part number B431-4700B. This is the airflow duct that carries debris to the bag.
New bag, clean filter, still no suction. What now?
Take this tube off and look through it. A partial blockage inside the duct is the most common cause once the bag and filter have been ruled out.
