Why won’t my Tornado 98168 turn on at all?
Start at the cord and the breaker. A 14/3 x 25″ power cord that has been run over or pinched at the strain relief is the most common cause, and the 2.5A circuit breaker on this panel will trip and stay tripped if something downstream is drawing too much. If the cord tests good and the breaker resets and holds, the rocker switch is the next suspect — they fail closed or dead after enough wet-hand cycles.
How do I tell a bad switch from a bad wiring harness?
