This is the base assembly for the Tornado TV 2 SS dry canister and the Simplicity Brio, supplied with its screws. It is the bottom of the machine — the structural piece the wheels, the caster and the motor area are all built onto.

What the Base Assembly with Screws Does

Everything about how the machine rolls and how quietly it runs starts here. The base sets the wheel and caster geometry, closes the underside of the motor area, and takes every knock the machine collects being pulled over thresholds and into kick boards. A cracked base lets the wheels sit out of line and lets motor noise straight out of the bottom of the machine.

Replace the base after impact damage, when a mounting boss for a wheel or the caster has broken, or when it has cracked across a load path. If the machine has started rolling crooked and the wheels and caster are sound, look at the base before replacing anything else.
