Brush Support 39329
$10.99
Genuine OEM brush support (part# 39329) for the Tornado CK 14/2 Pro 98152, the CK 14/1 Pro 98147 and the Powr-Flite Borelli Dual Pro. Call 763-535-0770.
The Brush Support (part# 39329) carries one end of the brush roll in the nozzle on the Tornado CK 14/2 Pro, model 98152, the CK 14/1 Pro, model 98147, and the Powr-Flite Borelli Dual Pro (PV160-W14-U).
It is the part that decides whether the roll runs true. A brush that is held square presents its bristles evenly across the full 14 inches; one held in a worn support drops at one end, which shows on carpet as a strip along one side of every pass that never looks as clean as the rest. Operators usually report this as the machine pulling or as patchy cleaning, and it gets blamed on the brush long before anyone looks at what is holding it.

Checking it
With the roll out, look at the bearing seat. It should be round and crisp. What you will find on a used machine is an oval, cut by grit and hair that packed in behind the bearing and worked as an abrasive. Any play you can feel with the roll fitted is too much, because the load comes off-centre and gets worse from there.
Replace it in the same visit as the brush roll when both are worn — a new roll in a worn support wears unevenly from the first shift, which wastes the more expensive part. Clearing hair from the bearing ends at every service is what prevents the wear in the first place.
Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado equipment since 1956. Call 763-535-0770 with your model and serial number and we will confirm the part before you order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which machines does this support fit?
Three: the Tornado CK 14/2 Pro 98152, the Tornado CK 14/1 Pro 98147, and the Powr-Flite Borelli Dual Pro (PV160-W14-U).
My machine leaves a strip that never looks clean. Could this be it?
Yes. A worn support lets one end of the brush roll drop, so the bristles stop meeting the carpet evenly across the width. It is usually blamed on the brush.
Should I replace the brush roll too?
If both are worn, yes. A new roll running in a worn support wears unevenly from the first shift, which throws away the more expensive part.
