Tornado CK 14/2 Pro Parts

Genuine OEM Tornado CK 14/2 Pro parts for model 98152, the 14-inch dual-motor commercial upright. Browse the three factory breakdowns below, or call 763-535-0770 and we will identify the part from your serial tag.

What the 14/2 means, and why it matters when ordering

The number is a specification, not a trim level. 14 is the cleaning path in inches; 2 is the motor count. This machine carries a suction motor and a separate brush motor, where the single-motor CK 14/1 Pro drives its brush from the one motor. That second motor is the reason this model has its own brush switch, its own circuit breaker and a thermal switch and wire harness specific to the 14/2 — parts that simply do not exist on the 14/1.

It matters when ordering because the two machines otherwise look alike and share most of their numbers. If your plate reads 98152 you are on the right page; if it reads 98147 you want the CK 14/1 Pro parts instead. When in doubt, read the plate rather than the invoice.

The three sections

Bag Housing covers the bag compartment, filtration and the switch and cord entry — the Clean Breeze high-filtration disposable bags, the HEPA cartridge filter and the motor intake filter all live here, and between them they account for most of what gets ordered for this machine. Brush Base covers the nozzle, the brush and belt, the shoe and the two motors. Handle and On-Board Wand covers the handle, the hose, the stored wand and tools, the power cord and the wiring.

Machines that share these parts

The Powr-Flite Borelli Dual Pro (PV160-W14-U) is built on the same platform under a different brand and shares the great majority of its parts with this machine. Further out, a number of these components are also catalogued for the Tornado CK 14/1 Pro, CK 14/1 BSE and CK 14/1 QD, and for several CleanMax uprights — the CMPS-QDZ and the CMP-3 series. The poly-V power nozzle belt reaches wider still, across more than thirty Riccar and Simplicity machines. Where a part crosses over, its own page lists every machine the factory shows it fitting, so check there rather than assuming.

Ordering from Twin City Vacuum

Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado equipment since 1956. Every number on these pages comes from the manufacturer’s own parts breakdown for the 98152 and is matched to its callout on the drawing, so you are ordering the part the factory specifies rather than a look-alike. Call 763-535-0770 with the model and serial number if you want a part confirmed before you buy.
