Brush Assembly 39334

$58.99

Genuine OEM brush assembly (part# 39334) for the Tornado CK 14/2 Pro, model 98152, and the Powr-Flite Borelli Dual Pro. Call 763-535-0770.

The Brush Assembly (part# 39334) is the complete 14-inch brush roll for the Tornado CK 14/2 Pro, model 98152, and the Powr-Flite Borelli Dual Pro (PV160-W14-U) — the roller, its bristle strips and its end bearings as one serviceable unit.

On a dual-motor machine the brush roll works harder than it does on a belt-driven upright, because it keeps its speed instead of bogging down in pile. That is good for cleaning and hard on bristles: they wear faster, and they wear more evenly, which paradoxically makes the wear easier to miss. A roll that looks uniformly worn is still a roll that has stopped agitating.

Judging when it is finished

Lay a straight edge across the bristles. If the tips no longer stand clearly proud of the roller body, the brush is sweeping rather than agitating, and the carpet will show it as pile that will not lift and traffic lanes that keep coming back. The end bearings are the other half of the test: spin the roll by hand, and if it rumbles, squeals or feels gritty, it is on its way out and will start marking carpet before it seizes.

Clear hair and string from the roll and its bearing ends at every service. A bound roll is what loads the brush motor, and a loaded brush motor is what trips the circuit breaker — so a few minutes with a seam ripper protects the two most expensive parts in this section.

Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado equipment since 1956. Call 763-535-0770 with your model and serial number and we will confirm the part before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which machines does this brush assembly fit?

The Tornado CK 14/2 Pro, model 98152, and the Powr-Flite Borelli Dual Pro (PV160-W14-U).

How do I know when to replace it?

Lay a straight edge across the bristles. If the tips are level with the roller body rather than standing proud of it, the brush has stopped agitating. Gritty or noisy end bearings are the other signal.

What else should I change at the same time?

The poly-V belt, part B350-2514. Fitting a roll means taking the belt off anyway, and a belt that has been running on a worn brush is usually stretched.
