$1.99
Genuine OEM front wheel (part# B010-1414) for the Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 and 97131, and the Powr-Flite PF62EC. Call 763-535-0770.
The Front Wheel (part# B010-1414) carries the front of the base on the Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 (115V) and 97131 (230V), and on the Powr-Flite PF62EC.
Front wheels on an upright set the nozzle height, which means they set how the brush meets the carpet. A wheel worn flat on one side, or one that no longer turns freely, changes that height by a few millimetres — enough to take the brush out of the pile on one side of the machine and leave a strip that never looks clean. Operators describe it as the machine pulling to one side.

Checking the wheels as a pair
Always look at both front wheels together. Replacing one worn wheel and leaving its partner introduces exactly the height difference you were trying to cure, so they go on in pairs even when only one looks bad. Spin each by hand: it should turn freely and quietly. Grit packed into the hub is the usual reason one binds, and a wheel that has been running dry will have worn its bore oval, in which case the axle (part number B010-0900) is worth inspecting too.
Hair and string wound around the axle behind the wheel is the other common find, and it is worth clearing at every brush roll change rather than waiting for the wheel to seize.
Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado equipment since 1956. Call 763-535-0770 with your model and serial number and we will confirm the part before you order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which machines does this wheel fit?
The Tornado CK-LW 13/1 ProLite, models 97130 and 97131, and the Powr-Flite PF62EC.
Should I replace both front wheels at once?
Yes. A new wheel next to a worn one puts the nozzle out of level, which is the very fault you are trying to fix. Change them as a pair.
My machine leaves a strip that never looks clean. Could it be the wheels?
It is one of the first things to check. A wheel worn flat on one side lowers that corner and lifts the brush out of the pile on the other, leaving a lane that never gets agitated.
