Miele Guard AirClean Filter Spacer Bracket 12550741

The Guard AirClean Filter Spacer Bracket (part# 12550741) is the genuine Miele spacer that holds the AirClean exhaust filter securely in position inside Guard L1 and Guard M1 canister vacuums.

What the Guard AirClean Filter Spacer Bracket Does

The spacer bracket keeps the exhaust filter seated correctly in the filtration compartment so air cannot bypass the filter. If it is lost, cracked or bent, the filter can shift and dust can escape around it. Miele’s price book lists this spacer as a common part on the Guard L1 AllFloor, Cat & Dog and Electro Basic (Nordic Blue) and the Guard M1 Cat & Dog, AllFloor and Terra; Miele’s UK site lists it for the Guard M1.

When to Replace the Guard AirClean Filter Spacer Bracket

Replace it if it is broken, missing or no longer holds the filter firmly — for example after a drop or after the filter cover has been forced closed. It is not a routine maintenance part.

This is the spacer only; the exhaust filter is sold separately.
