What the SF-HA 30-1 HEPA AirClean Filter Does

Miele rates the SF-HA 30 HEPA AirClean filter to catch 99.95% of viruses, bacteria and particles (HEPA class 13 per DIN EN 1822/2019). It is the standard filter on the Classic C1 Pure Suction HomeCare and the Classic C1 HomeCare Electro+, and it is the HEPA upgrade for the Classic C1 Pure Suction and Turbo Team (which ship with the Super AirClean filter) and the Classic C1 Cat & Dog (which ships with the Active AirClean filter). Anyone with allergies, asthma or pets gets the most benefit from it.

When to Replace the SF-HA 30-1 HEPA AirClean Filter

Replace it about once a year with normal use. This version has no TimeStrip, so note the install date. Signs it is due: a musty smell from the back of the vacuum, more dust in the air after cleaning, and a filter face that has gone from white to grey.

Note the number: the Classic C1 uses the SF-HA 30, not the SF-HA 50 used by the Guard and Complete C2/C3 canisters. The two are not interchangeable.
