Powr-Flite 19 inch Economy Pad Driver TL19

The Powr-Flite TL19 is a 19-inch economy pad driver with a built-in riser and a factory-installed UP2P clutch plate, made to mount a floor pad on a Powr-Flite 20-inch rotary floor machine. The pad driver grips the underside of a buffing, scrubbing, stripping, or polishing pad and transfers the motoru2019s rotation to the floor. On a 20-inch machine the 19-inch driver runs a 20-inch pad — Powr-Fliteu2019s rule is a pad the same size as, or one inch larger than, the driver.

Like its 16-inch sibling the TL16, the economy TL19 has a molded gripper face and a built-in riser, so there is no separate riser to buy or lose and the UP2P plastic clutch plate is already installed — it drops onto the machineu2019s motor shaft and locks in with no extra hardware. The full-face gripper holds the pad by friction so it stays centered at speed and will not walk off the driver mid-pass.

A pad driver is a wear item: every pad change scuffs the gripper face, and heat and solution slowly harden it.
