It is a disc-shaped broom that mounts at the front corner of the machine and spins to reach into edges the cylindrical main brooms cannot, flicking dirt, dust, and litter in from along walls, curbs, and baseboards so it lands in front of the main brooms and gets swept up. On the PS900BC’s Quadra Brush System, two side brooms work with the two counter-rotating main brooms to sweep the full 36-inch path clean edge to edge.
