2-Stage vs. 3-Stage Vacuum Motor — Which to Choose

This Sniper is offered with either 2-stage or 3-stage vacuum motors. The “stages” are the fans stacked inside the motor: a 3-stage motor builds more sealed water lift, so it pulls moisture back out of the carpet more aggressively for drier passes and stronger recovery on tall buildings or heavily saturated jobs — at a higher price and amp draw. A 2-stage motor uses less power and costs less while still giving strong recovery for most commercial carpet maintenance.
