What the Lower Housing Brush Head does

Because it is the part that meets the floor, the lower housing absorbs every impact the machine takes: door frames, desk legs, lift thresholds, the kerb at the loading bay. It also sets the geometry of the head. The brushroll runs true because its mounting points are square to each other in this moulding, and the gap between roll and floor stays even because the sole bolts to a flat face.
