Strike part numbers all begin with K. Work from the diagrams rather than from a description where you can — several parts on this machine look alike and are not interchangeable, including three different screws, two different nuts and nine separately numbered motor foams. If you are replacing a fastener, match it on the diagram rather than by eye.

What machine is the Tornado Strike?
The Strike TV190-W10-U is Tacony’s dual-motor cordless upright vacuum, running on a 36V 7.5Ah lithium-ion pack. Dual motor means one motor makes the suction and a second, separate motor drives the brush roll — which is why a Strike can lose brush agitation while suction still works perfectly, and vice versa.
Is the Strike the same machine as the Tornado Zephyr or Tempest?
No, but they are close relatives. The Strike, Tempest and Zephyr are built on the same cordless platform under different names and share the great majority of their parts — the battery, the charger, the suction motor and much of the battery-bay hardware are common. Where a part is shared, our listing says so and names every machine it fits.
What battery and charger does the Strike use?
The 36V 7.5Ah lithium-ion pack (part# K24450750) and the 36V quick-charger (part# K24450530), both of which also fit the Tempest and the Zephyr. Both are listed on the Top Handle page. My Strike’s brush will not turn but suction is fine. Where do I start?
With the parking position sensor and its wiring, not the motherboard. The control board only drives the brush motor when the sensor reports the machine is reclined for use, so a failed sensor, a chafed sensor cable or a damaged magnet in the base all produce exactly this symptom — at a small fraction of the cost of a board.
