The Cloth Shake-Out Bag C352-1500 is the genuine Tacony OEM 10 quart reusable cloth filter bag for Tornado and Powr-Flite backpack vacuums. It fits inside the bag compartment with a moulded sealing collar that seats against the compartment seal, and unlike a paper bag it is emptied and shaken out rather than binned — which is why it is the standard choice for operators working with heavy or bulky debris where a paper bag would fill or tear in an afternoon.
It is also the part that quietly determines how well the machine performs. The cloth is the filter: as the weave loads with fine dust the airflow drops, and past a certain point shaking it out no longer recovers it. Two other failures are worth knowing. The sealing collar hardens and splits with age, and once it stops seating properly the machine draws air around the bag instead of through it, so suction falls away with a perfectly clean bag fitted. And a bag refitted damp after washing chokes airflow immediately and can soak the HEPA filter behind it. Replace the bag when the cloth has thinned or torn, when the collar is split or hardened, or when suction stays poor after a thorough clean.

Getting the most out of it
The bag is reference 6 in the Tornado Pac-Vac 93012B parts book, listed alongside the 6 quart C352-1400. Empty it outdoors or over a bin and shake it from the collar rather than the body so you are not working dust deeper into the weave. Check the collar every time it goes back in — it should seat all the way round without being forced. If you want both economy and fine filtration, run a 10 quart paper bag inside the cloth bag; the paper does the filtering and the cloth catches anything that gets past it. Keep a spare HEPA filter on the shelf as well, since a bag failure usually takes the filter with it. Twin City Vacuum has been selling and servicing Tornado and Powr-Flite equipment since 1956. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Cloth Shake-Out Bag (part# C352-1500) for?
It is the reusable 10 quart cloth filter bag that sits inside the bag compartment. It can be emptied and shaken out rather than thrown away, so it is the economical option for operators who do not want to buy paper bags – and it is also the bag the machine falls back on if a paper bag tears.
Should I use the cloth bag or paper bags?
Paper bags filter finer and are cleaner to change, so they are the better choice in offices, healthcare and anywhere dust matters. The cloth shake-out bag costs nothing per empty, which suits heavy debris and outdoor or industrial work. Many operators run the cloth bag as the outer filter with a paper bag inside it.
What models is the Cloth Shake-Out Bag (part# C352-1500) compatible with?
Tornado Pac-Vac 10 Aircomfort 93014 and 93014B, the Tornado Pac-Vac 6 Aircomfort 93012B in its 10 quart configuration, and Powr-Flite PF600BP and PF1000BP backpack vacuums. This is the 10 quart bag – the 6 quart machines use C352-1400.
How do I clean it and when do I replace it?
Empty and shake it out after each use, and wash it occasionally following the machine manual – never refit it damp, because a wet cloth bag chokes airflow and can soak the filter behind it. Replace the bag when the cloth has thinned or torn, when the sealing collar is split or hardened so it no longer seats, or when suction stays poor after cleaning because the weave has clogged permanently.
