Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Tornado Pac-Vac 93012 and the 93012B?
The 93012B is the current revision of the Pac-Vac 6 Aircomfort and shares most of its Main Assembly with the original 93012. The two significant differences are the motor compartment — the 93012B uses X1288 where the original 93012 uses B352-0100 — and the power cord arrangement, where the 93012B parts book lists the yellow 50 foot cord X9714, the plug cover X1042 and the receptacle and screw set 34864 rather than a single wiring harness. Always order the motor compartment by the model on your data label.
Does this diagram cover the 6 quart and the 10 quart machines?
Yes. The 93012B parts book lists both capacities on the same Main Assembly diagram. Reference numbers 5, 6, 7 and 9 each show a 6 quart part and a 10 quart part — the paper bag, cloth shake-out bag, back plate and yellow front cover. Pick the row that matches your machine. The 6 quart parts are for the Pac-Vac 6 and the 10 quart parts are for the Pac-Vac 10.
Which motor fits the Tornado Pac-Vac 93012B?
D123-5300, reference 20 on the diagram. Note that the visually similar CleanMax CMBP-6.2 motor D123-5310 is a different part and is not interchangeable, so order by part number rather than by appearance.
How do I know which HEPA filter and post filter to buy?
Both are single part numbers across the range: B352-5200 for the HEPA filter at reference 12, and B352-2400 for the post filter at reference 31. There is no 6 quart or 10 quart split on the filters.
Where is the model number on my machine?
On the silver data label on the body, usually on the underside or near the harness mounting. It will read 93012B. If the label is gone, call 763-535-0770 with a photo and we will identify it for you.
