What is the difference between the screw-in clip tools and the plain clip tools?
Tools listed with a screw-in clip have the retaining clip fastened through the tool body, which is the more durable arrangement for tools that get pulled off the wand often. The plain clip versions use a spring clip. Both fit the same 1.5 inch wand, so it is a durability and preference choice rather than a fitment one.
How often should I replace the vacuum hose?
Replace the stretch hose when it will not hold its shape, when the cuff no longer seals at the inlet elbow, or when you can feel air escaping along its length while the machine runs. A leaking hose costs you suction everywhere downstream and is one of the most common causes of a Pac-Vac that feels weak.
