Straight answer: the HX3 is a real step forward on runtime (+10 minutes solo, +8 minutes with the electrobrush on low), noise (3 dB quieter), and usability (Boost and the runtime display). Weight, bin size, battery capacity, and filtration are unchanged from the HX2. The biggest new capability is that every HX3 accepts the AquaTwister wet-mop head — the HX2 cannot.

Reach Mode
PowerUnit at the top, near the handle. Keeps the floorhead low and flat for reaching under beds, sofas, and low furniture.
Compact Mode
Wand removed — the PowerUnit becomes a handheld vacuum for tabletops, upholstery, stairs, and car interiors with the included crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle, and dust brush.
A park position lets the Triflex stand free-standing during short breaks without leaning it against a wall.
