Every appliance top part for the Tornado CV 30 (12-inch, model 91449) and the Tornado CV 38 (15-inch, model 91451). The appliance top is the upright body of the machine — the housing, the covers over it, the switch, the cord and the bag compartment latch. It is the half of the vacuum the operator actually touches, so wear here is handling wear rather than floor wear.
Find the item on the drawing, note the number printed beside it, then match that number in the table below. Hovering a red dot names the position without scrolling, and every row links through to the part.

The rocker switch, K66306783, is the single most replaced item on this sheet because it is pressed several times a shift for years. The 40-foot power cord, K46490260, goes next — usually at the plug end or where it leaves the body — and the cord hook, K50446610, snaps when the cord is wrapped hot and tight. None of those three is a difficult repair.
The housing itself, K50609910, is the expensive part on the page and the one worth checking carefully before ordering. A housing is only worth replacing when it is cracked through at a mount; scuffing and discolouration do not affect anything. If the machine is otherwise sound, a new cover and front cover will make it look new for a fraction of the cost.
Frequently asked questions
Does one appliance top fit both the CV 30 and the CV 38?
Yes. Tornado publishes a single Appliance Top Parts breakdown covering both machines and the part numbers are identical throughout. The two models differ at the brush head, not in the body, so a housing, cover, switch or cord bought for one fits the other.
Why do several parts here not say Tornado in the name?
Because they are not Tornado-only. The CleanMax uprights are built on the same platform, and where a part is fitted to machines of more than one brand we leave the brand out of the title rather than imply it belongs to one of them. The compatible-model list on each part page shows exactly where it is used.
One of the parts has no number beside it at all. What is it?
That is the Red Lever and Tube Assembly, K54813520. The drawing shows it on this sheet without a callout because it is supplied as an assembly rather than as one of the numbered positions. It is listed in the table with a dash in the position column.
Other assemblies for these machines are indexed on the Tornado CV 30 parts hub and the Tornado CV 38 parts hub.
