Frequently Asked Questions
Is this page for the 15-inch or the 19-inch machine?
Both. Tornado publishes one front part sheet for the CVD 38/2 and CVD 48/2 — the same diagram and the same fourteen parts — so anything ordered here fits either machine.
Why does one part have no callout number?
The Red Lever and Tube Assembly K54813520 is drawn on the sheet but Tornado gives it no printed number. It has a dot on the diagram and a row in the table, with a dash in the number column rather than an invented figure.
My suction has dropped — which part on this sheet should I look at first?
The sealed HEPA filter and the intake filter, in that order, and a fresh bag before either. Those three account for most suction complaints. The vacuum motor is the last thing to suspect, not the first.
Do the screws come in packs?
No, they are sold singly. The front part sheet uses four M4 x 12 and two M5 x 20, so order the quantity you need.
