Tornado 98225 PS8225 Spotter Product Optional Items

Tornado 98225 product optional items for the PS8225 Spotter (Deluxe), Model 98225. Can’t find your part? Call us at 763-535-0770.

These are the add-on tools and the long hose the factory lists as options for this machine — none of them ships with it as standard. Click any row to open that item’s product page.

What the Tornado 98225 product optional items are

The Series D & E book opens with a page the other sections do not have: a short list of items Tornado sells alongside the PS8225 Spotter rather than inside it. There is no exploded drawing on that page — the factory prints a product photograph there instead — so this section is a list rather than a numbered diagram, and that is how it is reproduced below.

Two of the six are machine hardware rather than cleaning tools. The transport handle assembly is the tubular loop the machine is wheeled by, which Tornado sells as a customer-installed kit and also calls out at position 35 on the main assembly. The 8 ft. high-performance vac/press hose is the one the factory marks “required for use of optional tools” — if you are buying any of the four tools below, read the note under the table before you order.

The remaining four are hand tools, and the number that matters on each of them is its pressure rating: the drag wand is rated 100 P.S.I. or less, the crevice tool 120 P.S.I., the upholstery tool 500 P.S.I. and the stair tool 800 P.S.I. Those ratings describe what each tool will tolerate, not what this machine delivers — the PS8225 runs a 55 P.S.I. pump, so all four are within range. The rating matters if the tool is ever moved to a higher-pressure extractor.

About the “required for use of optional tools” note. That is Tornado’s wording on 95560, and we are repeating it rather than explaining it, because the factory does not say what the requirement is and we are not going to invent a reason. Both 95560 and the hose that comes with the machine are eight feet long, so it is not about reach. Call us at 763-535-0770 before ordering a tool and we will work out with you whether you also need the hose.

Tornado 98225 Product Optional Items – Frequently Asked Questions

Do any of these optional items come with the Tornado 98225?

No. Everything on this page is listed by Tornado as an option, not as standard equipment. The machine ships with its own utility tool and hose; the drag wand, crevice tool, upholstery tool, stair tool, longer hose and transport handle kit are all bought separately.

Which pressure rating do I need for the PS8225 Spotter?

Any of them. The PS8225 runs a 55 P.S.I. pump, so the 100, 120, 500 and 800 P.S.I. tools on this list are all comfortably inside their ratings on this machine. The rating becomes relevant only if you later use the tool on a higher-pressure extractor — then it is a ceiling you must not exceed.

Do I need the 8 ft. hose 95560 to use the optional tools?

Tornado marks 95560 “required for use of optional tools” and we pass that on as written. What the factory does not say is why, and since both hoses are eight feet it is probably not about reach. Call 763-535-0770 with your model and serial number before ordering a tool and we will sort out whether the hose has to go with it.

Why does this section have no diagram?

Because Tornado does not print one. The Product Optional Items page in the Series D & E book carries a product photograph rather than an exploded view, and the items have no reference numbers in the factory table — so there is nothing to number and nothing to click. Every other section of this machine does have a numbered drawing.
