Which CK ULW 13/1 nozzle parts wear out first?
The belt and the wooden agitator go first, because they do the work. After those it is the baseplate wheels and the squeegee, then the rear wheels. The motor, the PC board and the scroll housings are long-life parts and are rarely the cause of a machine that has stopped cleaning well.
My machine runs but the brush is not turning. What should I check?
The belt, first and always. Tip the machine and look at the agitator: if it turns freely by hand with the machine off and does not turn under power, the belt has snapped or stretched off its pulley. If the belt is intact, check that the agitator end caps are seated in their bearings and that nothing is wound tightly around the brush shaft.
Why are there two belts and two baseplates listed under one number?
The factory sheet offers alternatives at those callouts. The belt is sold either singly or as a two-pack — same belt, different quantity. The baseplate comes as the standard assembly or as the optional soft-carpet version, which is a genuinely different plate for delicate soft-surface carpet. Both options are listed as their own rows so you can pick the one you want.
Do these nozzle parts fit Riccar, Simplicity or CleanMax ultralights too?
Most of them do.
